Help Recording problem

My handset is 2 weeks old I have recently found that when I press the record button on the video player the red button takes me back to the home page this is only fixed if I shut down and start up the phone very annoying when you want to take a quick vid ! Anyone else find this ? And can you help ?

How did you fix this problem cos i am facing the same issue...it seems it has to do something with the path. please do let me know the steps to get it resolved...
