Help recording voice calls?

Is this not possible on the voice recorder on the note 2? I tried to do it but it says it is not.

I find this surprising as most phones have this function.

i just use easy voice record. and its free. good app used since i had the galaxy nexus.

It's a very simple technical matter to record a call, but call recording capabilities are often disabled for legal reasons. See this article.

Have installed several different call records (free and paid). InCallRecorder works the best for me on my Note II (Sprint). Easy install and setup, doesn't require a PhD. Excellent call quality and volume from both sides. Others I have tried had the issue of the other parties voice being very muted and hard to hear because of the low volume recorded on their side.

I wish there was one that would work with apps like talkatone for over wifi calls.
