Root Recover Menu

I can get into the recover triangle/exclamation point by holding down X while booting.

I can't get into this while holding down the camera key

Once I'm in this triangle/exclamation point screen I should be able to press Volume Up + Camera to bring the menu down. This last step is not working for me, although the Volume Up key and the camera keys work.

Anyone help ?

What happens after you pressed Volume Up + Camera button (simultaneously)? You should get a new screen with 4 (blue) lines on it (first one is 'reboot device', 2nd one 'apply update.zip). Open the milestone's keyboard and select the 2nd option.

I didn't get that screen.

I was able to solve my problem by flashing bootloader v9074 (I had bootloader 9078) onto my device.
Once I had that bootloader I could user Volume UP + camera key

I take it that it was just a guess ?

I tried x + power button, nothing.

But like I said, I was able to solve my problem by flashing an old version of the bootloader

The problem is back, and flashing an older version of the bootloader doesn't help this time :/

I can get to the Triangle screen just fine, but from that point on I can't get into the recovery menu. Volume Up + Camera button does nothing.

Please help
