Help Recovering contact numbers

GalaxyS2

Well-Known Member
Hi i was playing around woth my phone last night. And i managed to do a factory reset. But for some reason when i try to update my contacts i only have 3!! Also i am rooted and my backups aren't working either. Is there anyway to get my numbers from my google account from a previous back up? Don't think i will be messing with my phone while half asleep again.

Thanks for any help.

Try...

Contacts > Menu > More > Display options > Select contacts to display > Google... make sure that you have checked the relevant boxes.

Tip: In Contacts go to Import/Export and select Export to SD card. This will save a full copy of your Contacts to your external SD card... just in case! ;)

No good. I think i must have sync'd my google account after factory reset as only 3 contact numbers come back. Any way of going back to an earlier sync?

Will remember that for future.
