Root Recovery backup issues

Hey when i try to do a backup in cwm i get an error..im using v4.0.0.8....anyone know a fix?

Yeah. Dont. CWM backup/restore is broken at this time and will likely put you in a bootloop.

4.0.0.8 was the old version with a known problem for backup restore.

Download 4.0.1.4 here at the XDA forums, the issue was fixed.

So we can do backups/restores via cwr now? Id love to since im on a fresh gummy 2.0 install but have no desire to go thru recovering from another soft brick because of a recovery backup gone wrong
