Interesting.Touch Recovery will only work on ICS and later kernels.
Duh, touch only works on Ice Cream Sandwich kernels or later. Oh, wait... This must mean we've always HAD ICS, it was just in disguise! I mean, look...
V6 - V4 = V2. Since our phone has 2 cores, 2*2=4, 4.0 is ICS, ergo, we have ICS. See, it all makes sense now...

and that alone will keep it from being official. Need to be able to boot into CWM if it wont boot into the OS
Interesting.
thats incorrect, a 2.6.35.* works just fineDuh, touch only works on Ice Cream Sandwich kernels or later. Oh, wait... This must mean we've always HAD ICS, it was just in disguise! I mean, look...

try using the graphics.c from my vs920 repo and the recovery.fstab.Ok, so, finally got one to build correct. It loads recovery, mounts partitions, does nandroid, and what not, but there is one BIG change between this and the one most people use.
The power button turns off the screen. This means no more using the power button to activate menu choices.
Also, as i've tested, this version does not fix the CWM boot loop automatically. You still need to apply the .zip fix. As I mentioned before, the color is also inverted and would need someone with more experience then me to fix it. For those interested in messing with there phone, here is the link to the build.

the current cwm you all use is using a GB kernel as is the build I've done, as is the connects and lucids Official CWM Touch builds.
I understand now... 35 - 26 = 9. And you can do 9 * the amount of work you do at your job, you'll likely have the 4.0 or higher that it asks for. That is unless you are a NYS highway worker, which in that case it would be like 9 * .2 if "amount of work" is on a scale of 1-10. Jees, they are on Android 1.8, sucks to be them.
I hope I cleared everything up for everyone, this was a lot of work. I must be on Android 90.0. Or actually since I did this post AT work, maybe I'm only on Android 2.6.35.*... Oh snapz...
Actually i was talking about kernel versions lol
