Root [recovery] ClockWorkMod 6.0.3.7

right, im gonna adjust back to adreno 200 settings for anothrr test, granted that one doesnt work through some miracle lol

progress is a good thing, sadly thats kind of a baby step, but hey as long as its a step in the right direction ill take it

kool, i should be fine for now, thx

and ill have another test up by the time you get up so just let me know how it works out ehen you get the chance

ok so i did some research, found a similar device, the zte awe n800 that has kernel source out

i will need a build.prop, a copy of /proc/config.gz, and some time to download the source if i even can... but we may be able to even get a custom kernel and branch out to help the awe get custom stuff too

yeah the last 2 tests are tested. gonna need that source code. it looks like we are at a stand still atm. ill look for what i can find on it.

and try replacing the init binary in there, that might help

just the file named init in the ramdisk, sometimes that gives us issues. might even just be the .rc files who knows

also there is a page fault in there somewhere so maybe its the ram giving us issues. ill run a couple more tests this evening see what i come up with

oh hey can you grab a copy of /proc/kmsg too? might give us more info
and /tmp/recovery.log

im trying to.narrow things down and scour thr net for clues and i may be on to something but im not sure

Ill get those files for ya. I swapped init with the factory one in the factory recovery ramdisk. It works just fine. so no worries on init.

I will tell you I have dumped the entire contents of thr ramdisk from your tests into the factory recovery and it boots. Scripts and all. Obviously doesnt have the functionality but that in the recovery kernel itself. so looks like thats where the discrepancy really lies unfortunately...
