Unfortunately, the only one of those recoveries that's available for the Evo 3D/V is CWM and that has some issues on our device.

Since 4EXT has its own installer and TWRP installs through goo manager this app will probably be more useful on other devices, but thanks for posting.

It's not worthless, just has limited applicability to the Evo 3D/V.

Actually, CWM is supposed to be able to be installed with ROM Manager but I don't think that ever worked on the Evo 3D so if someone wants to use CWM recovery they could use this app to install it.

I usually use Flash Image GUI to flash recoveries from Android and there's a free version of that on XDA, although it's good to support the developer (Joey Krim) by purchasing it for $1 on the Play Store since he's done a lot to help the community.
