I just noticed something... DST doesn't seem to be working since the lollipop update. I know it's minor and I don't expect you to jump right on top of it or anything, but I noticed, and now it's annoying me.

Although if anyone that has the power to change this is watching, you may want to sticky the other twrp (kitkat) thread instead, since its way more stable than this is. This was a first build that I have not done any more work to.

To build twrp lollipop:

First, download the source and add it to cm12 sources. (If you have omnirom sources you already have twrp in bootable/recovery. just use mka recoveryimage to build it instead of mka recoveryimage RECOVERY_VARIANT=twrp.) You could also apply the follwing to philz recovery builds.

use the "Download ZIP" button on the bottom right to download the source zip. You can also add the above to a local_manifest.xml if you wish to recieve updates with every repo sync.

Unzip the contents to ~/pathtocm12source/bootable/recovery-twrp

Finally to compile:

if you already have a build ran, unfortunately you will have to clobber it. I know theres a way around it, and a google search will explain what i dont feel like explaining here, how to run a new recovery build with cm12 already built.

run the following in terminal:

cd ~/pathtocm12source
make clobber
. build/envsetup.sh
prebuilts/misc/linux-x86/ccache/ccache -M 50G
export USE_CCACHE=1
lunch (choose cm_x5-userdebug)
mka recoveryimage RECOVERY_VARIANT=twrp

That will produce a bumped twrp img in /out/target/product/x5 if you are using bad_mofo's cm12 sources. You can boot it and test it out without flashing by rebooting to fastboot and entering the following:

fastboot boot whateveryourtwrpimgiscalled.img

to make sure everything works nicely. Alternatively you can flash it using:

fastboot flash recovery whateveryourtwrpimgiscalled.img

and when everything is good upload it to androidforums for all of us to enjoy.

On the latest, I'm getting this error when wiping.
Also notice in the wipe menu it lists internal, sdcard, ext sdcard.
I assume sd card is internal?

Other than that it seems to be wiping and flashing OK. I've restored a couple backups as well.

just a typo in fstab file, will fix in next update.

Multirom isnt fully functional yet, but you can probably guess what I'm working on....
Will post the Multirom zip shortly, gotta do a little more tweaking kernel wise.
But this recovery is fully fuctional for typical recovery things.

I will be trying this in the next couple days, but...
Has anyone ever tried restoring just the data from a nandroid to a fresh ROM?
Basically I want to flash a stock ROM while I'm using navigation on vacation... Last time I went, and was on lollipop and the navigation was all jacked... So I want to be able to bring all my app data, and though it may be easier with a nandroid restore of data only after wiping and flashing stock.
I figure it'll end up in a boot loop, but I'm going to try anyways, just was thinking about it today and figured someone has probably tried...

Bad_MOFO_33 sir thanks for all your hard work. I installed TWRP 2.8.6.0 and Blisspop 4.0.1-x5 on my Volt yesterday. How exactly do I update to TWRP 2.8.7.0 and is it compatible with Blisspop ? Do I just use Flashify to install 2870 over 2860 ? Whats the correct safe procedure ? Thanks

u can use flashify if you'd like, but you can also use the twrp recovery you have installed already (boot into twrp, click install, lower right click images, click the image you wish to flash, click recovery then swipe to install....)BTW not really my work, just picked up where @whoshotjr2006 left off.

Easy enough to build if you dl the marshmallow source and the twrp source. Takes 45 minutes on a fresh compile for me, try building it and see if you get it booting.

I really don't have the time or the energy to build much anymore with a baby here now.

I believe too many issues kept cropping up with multirom and it was scrapped.
