Help Recycle Bin

Hi,

I have a Nexus S and want to remove an item from the home screen.

Instructions say, touch and hold item till it vibrates and then move to the Recycle Bin.

I cannot locate any recycle bin icon on the home screen.

Do I need to add/install the Recycle Bin?

When you hold down that item, at the bottom of the screen (center), there should be a picture of a garbage bin. Drag whatever icon you want to get rid of to that bin, and drop it; it will be removed from your homescreens

Thanks for your quick reply.

YES, you are correct. My big fat finger was covering the Recycle Bin icon.

The Recycle Bin icon only appears after holding down the unwanted icon and the vibration occurs.
