Red leader, standing by

Speak for yourself. I've always asked why we don't have more wookies on this site.

Then I saw this thread and thought....... maybe now they'll come!

That IS a very interesting question you bring up. Why aren't there more wookies here? Kashyyyk surely loves androidforums as much as the rest of the galaxy

Indeed. Chewbaca didn't seem like an Apple guy to me.

Now Storm Troopers on the other hand... I'm guessing each and every one of them had an iPhone hidden away in their get-up somewheres!

Dont think so, empire always was on the cutting edge... see

Because the wookies are to busy baking wookie cookies for the emperor.

Lol - you guys all make me laugh. I have no idea what half of the thread is about but the banter keeps me amused while I am bored out of my mind at work.

You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? … It’s the ship that made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.

I've heard of some of these things....never sat down to watch any movie/tv show to figure out what the love is about though.

Never understood that one. A parsec is a unit of distance, not time. I think Han was just BS-ing his way through the interview. Luke was naive enough to fall for that but Obi Wan should have called him on it.

"The Kessel Run was one of the most heavily-used routes in the Galactic Empire. Han Solo claimed that his Millennium Falcon "made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs". A parsec was a unit of distance, not time. Solo was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance. By moving closer to the black holes, Solo managed to cut the distance down to about 11.5 parsecs."

Hmm.. kind of makes sense?

Actually he never finished the run as he dumped his load of spice when the imperial ship chased him. So he didn't do the run and why jabba put the bounty on his head. Even though it was jabba that informed the imperials of the shipment.

If i remember Lucas was asked why he used parsecs and he said because it sounded cool to say.
