Root red triangle flashing SU file

I am attempting to root my evo 4g following the "Guide to rooting Gingerbread with Revolutionary" sticky and i get all the way to step 8 on "on to rooting your evo!" then i go to step 9 and select recovery, i see the htc logo, then a green circle with a down arrow over a evo, then i get to a red triangle and can go no further. i can confirm i have s-off and the "superuser su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip" file on the root of my sd card. what do i do now? thanks for your time.

I had the same problem so i just pulled the battery reinserted and ran revolutionary again and it worked. hope that helps.

you can re run revolutionary and it asks if you want it to install Clockwork mod for you.

after that you can go into recovery.

yup also after your done you can change your recovery to Amon Ra if you wish to.

i did and now i am looking to install "setCPU" and am wondering if the app "CPU Master (Free)" is an ok alternative (I am cheap)
