Root redid my phone, now USB won't connect to PC

Just use the sdparter, slide any partitions other than the top FAT one to 0 then slide the FAT partition as far as you can to the right and hit start.

Alternatively use clockword click advanced, SD partition, set both to 0 and you're good to go.

Either way works fine.

just tried swapping my mom and I sdcard. when i use my sdcard in her phone it gave me the same thing i've been seeing in windows explorer which is "Location is not available" and disk J saying removable disk with no bar of how much space i have left. when i tried my mom's 2gb sd card in my phone it freezes when the kouma kernel screen comes up. i think that's cause she doesn't have a rom like i do or some other incompatiability. is there some setting in this bloodawn rom that could be causing all this??

also i tried what kouma and adam suggested but i ran into another problem. when i hit start this message appears: "Partitions in use! you must disable all A2SD utilities and unmount all SD-Card partitions before continuing." i don't know how to do what it says. but i tried unmounting the sdcard in ctmod the other day and that said error.

Did you try clockworkmod?

Boot into recovery
Select advanced then partition SD
Then choose 0 for both.

Unless I read that wrong and you did do try that too... if not I don't know man.

holy crap that worked with clockworkmod! thanks adam! but i wanted to ask you all if this instructions is correct. cause i don't wanna screw it up again. let me know what i should include or take out in this list. i wanna use it for future reference when i flash my rom or partition. here it is (thanks vce and lordvincent!)

1. Download CTMod (latest version)zip and copy it to your sd-card
2. Turn off your phone
3. Hold Vol+Power button till you see the Clockworkmod menu
4 Select "Install ZIP from SD-Card" ( use Vol up and down to navigate, camera button to select )
5. After flashing CTMod, select "Reboot System" ( might have to do the "Reboot System" twice, not sure why.....)
6. Boot the phone all the way up ( first boot could take 5 - 10 min )
7. ALL THE PARTITIONING AND FORMATTING SHOULD BE DONE "BEFORE" STEP 7 !!! You can go to CTMod Settings>>>Partition Info and adjust your current partition and format them.... However if you do that, you STILLLLLLLLLLL need to re-format in CWM Recovery after you changed to Data !!! In SDParter - When you slide the top spider to the left, its so you can create the third partition. You want the first one to be Fat, the second to be ext4, and the third to be either ext4 (for SSM) or swap (for data mode)
8. Once up and running, go to "Settings>>>CTMod Settings>>>Kernel Settings and tick "DATA", then "Save Settings" ( when supersu ask, you need to grant permissions )
9. NOW, hold the power button down for a second or so, select reboot, then choose "Recovery" !!! Once back in recovery RE-FORMAT your sdext again ( not sd-card )
10. When format is complete, "reboot system"

Voila !

i noticed something when repartitioning. when i followed lordvincent's parition advice. i noticed when i did "In that case just slide the third one to 0, and the second (EXT4) to ~2000 and then make the first one (the fat partition) as big as it will go. (~30,000)." i noticed that 3rd partition marked swap disappeared when i moved the fat parition to the max. is that supposed to happen??

Yes that's right. Unless you want the third partition you don't want it showing.

heh. don't worry i was gonna thank you all but i had one more question before i give props. this is the 32gb 10 grade sd card that i have on my phone. i wanted to ask you or anyone else their opinion of this card. is it good? cause i may get that one for my mom cause like i said she's run out of room and she asked me to order it for her.

Amazon.com: Samsung 32GB High Speed microSDHC Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter. Model number: MB-MSBGA/US: SAMSUNG: Electronics

Is your mom's phone rooted? Just asking because I thought a while back you said it wasn't. If it's not the bigger card is not going to get you any more memory it'll just get you more storage.

hi cwhatever

no hers isn't. yeah i just want more storage.

i have a quick question. in CWM, under advanced and partition card do i pick 2048m in the EXT Size menu? earlier today i pressed 128m (lowest size on menu). i was confused thats why. i want internal storage to be around 2gb. and the rest to go the fat partition i guess. i saw i had around 100mb in internal storage after partitioning because of pressing 128m earlier i think.

Yup. 2048 is 2gigs. Roughly anyway, it'll show around 1.8 gig under internal memory when you look under manage applications.

1024=1gig

For yours, if a big card just make whatever size in cwm and then use the sd parter in settings and make the first exd as big as you want, sometimes after doing in cwm then the sdparter works to redo again. If a small card then keep it small because will have no room on the rest of card for backups,pics,ect.....

Like I said before, your moms will not make any difference at all but just more room for stuff, not apps or memory stuff.
