Reduce icon size

I don't suppose there is a way to reduce the amount of space around the icons for apps/folders? When you remove the text under the images you could easily fit an extra row of icons on a homescreen by getting rid of some of the blank space.

You should try ADW Launcher. It has a way to add as many as 8 rows and 8 columns worth of icons. Not pretty, but it is interesting. You can also remove the text there. With Launcher Pro, you can get up to 5 rows.

Installed launcherpro a few minutes ago to try it and have discovered the little row of icons along the bottom - Is there a way to get an extra row of those above the existing one?

Edit: Scratch that, I discovered you can have a total of 15 icons on that bar if you flick right or left. Sorry Sense, I've found a new love.
