Root Redux 1.2 noob sd partition

hi

i've recently got a HTC desire with Redux 1.2 installed and i'm having trouble with internal memory.

Iv'e searched through the forum and can't seem to make any sense of it

I rebooted the desire putting it into recovery and looked through the options and in advanced it says partition SD card.

if I want to increase the partition that acts as internal memory do i just select this or is it more complicated than that.

No.

First get something like FreeSpace to understand the Available/Free Space in your phone (internal/external).

Then, make sure you have tow partitions on SD card: one FAT32 and one ext3 (to be created by Gparted).

Restart the phone and check again the Available/Free space allocation.

As a final step, you flash the a2sd+ file for Redux to move Dalvik cache to SD card.

You download it from the redux download site, then flash it from recovery.

Hey me again. How do I know if the apps are installed on the ext4 partition. I've got freespace and the apps are currently install on the phone.

Use Quick system info. See if the a2sd storage shows free less than total.

Yea out off 0.99.GB there is 802MB left. In settings>>applications>>manage applications the apps that are movable say they're on the phone.

I got the figures mixed up sorry

theres about 1GB ext4, theres 802MB free

yes i flashed the dalvik script straight after i completed the partition.
