Root Redux 2 Frequent Crashes

The hair's about the right length, no?

Too bad that ihlades abandoned project. This is my first custom rom and in last 10 days I've been using it, it was very stable.
The only thing that annoyed me is image quality. Difference between images taken with stock rom and Redux 2 is very noticeable, at least for me.
I guess that will not be corrected in near future. :S

He actually intends that image quality for speed reasons. Its awful IMHO. After Rastaman pointed it out to me, I couldn't go on like that.

When you're talking about images, I assume you mean photos that have been taken? I haven't noticed this yet but then can't compare the two as I cleared all my photos off my card yesterday, is it really that bad?

Actually not really. Its more the display capabilities which affects homescreen, galleries etc. basically anything you view on the screen is lower quality.

Ah I see. I wish you hadn't mentioned it as I can see it now. Yet another reason to switch over to your ROM when I get a chance to get round to it!

Haha I ment on camera shots. Maybe I should clean my camera lens :)
@SUroot your rom seems excellent and I follow XDA thread but you are aksing too much with those custom MTD and custom Hboot. :) It's too complicated for android rookie like me at this moment. But I will give it a try for sure. I must first collect as much information as I can ;)

No problem. The hboot is by far an easier solution.

Are you s-off? The way to do it is to tackle one thing at a time.

My eyes must be getting really bad. I can't see any difference from previous roms - homescreens, galler, whatever.

You need a rom that is rooted and as close to stock as possible. Teppics is usually the first mentioned.

I got S-Off when I was using LeeDroid 2.5. A Froyo Sense rom so fairly close but probably not advisable.

Some of the leedroids dont like s-off now though. Teppic74 is a good choice, or better than that, restore your first ever nandroid of your original rooted rom.

or use alpharev 1.8, either or really. I dont know how the process on revolutionary differs. I suppose its newer so its better.
