Root Redux and delayed notifications

Does anyone else have an issue with delayed notifications on Redux? I've just turned my screen on and received a raft of Whatsapp and gmail notifications from last night, it's like they couldn't come through while the screen was off. At first I thought it was because I had the CPU scaled back, but I've just checked and my setCPU profiles are disabled and screen state scaling is disabled in the Redux settings. I'm using the ondemand governor, buy other than that nothing else that would affect the CPU. Anyone have any ideas why I would get an entire nights worth of notifications in one go?

Did you have wifi on? If yes, check the wifi sleep policy in Settings > Wireless & net settings > WiFi settings then Menu button > Advanced. If it's set to sleep when screen off that's probably the reason. BTW if you're running Redux it's recommended to set this to Never, as other settings strangely seem to drain battery quicker.

Thanks saltire, it was set to sleep when the screen was off so it could be that. Might also be the cause of my battery issues!

I am on Orange, but I didn't have this problem on stock.

Reason I ask is, orange is shite.
I'm on em and keep getting delayed messaging.
It's on and off though, did it on stock - insert coin - redux and my current ROM Miui XJ.

I'm about 90% sure it's orange.
When I called em up they said put it in airplane mode then back again, it then has to connect to a new mast. Worked for me.... For a while.

i have this aswell......and yes i'm on redux and orange, i'm sure it's down to orange, seems to be worse since the merger with tmob.
