Root Reflex S lagging on my desire?

After reading your post I decided to give the rom a try and installed it.

I have to say I haven't noticed any lag at all.

What size is you ext partition?

Where is it lagging exactly?

The lag is mainly on opening apps like facebook or wordfeud, when i'm in the actual apps its all good, infact lightening fast!
There's lag too when I drag the notification bar down from the top of the screen?

Available on ext partition is 1.62GB
SD Card total space is 1.72gb, available space is 0.91gb
Internal storage = available on /data 99.36mb, available on /system 11.90mb

I apologise I'm a bit of a newbie to all this! Appreciate your help!

I dont use Facebook (there are some of us left! ;)) but I must admit I've noticed a slight lag when dragging the notification bar down on this ROM!!

It is a little annoying but I just put it down to that fact I'm running a newer type ROM on a 12 month+ old handset!

Surley unless you go for one of the ASOP stripped down ROM's, you are going to see some lag purely down to the UI being more complex??

Well I downloaded Autokiller and its definitely helped so thanks!

Another quick question can you suggest anything to help with battery life, since I flashed this ROM its shortened the life by about 25%. I've got juice defender already but im just wondering what else I can do?

Aah its an app! (Cheers Google!)

I'm sure i've got things running that I'm not aware of, but i'm so scared of deleting something I need from the memory, its just the battery would last at least 24 hours before I rooted my phone and now its much less?

it's an app from the market that can adjust the settings of your cpu as the name suggests. I thoroughly reccommend it.

Yes, but you can set profiles for different states of the phone, eg screen off, with minimum and maximum levels. Check it out.

i'm sure one of the more senior members on here can explain it in much better detail than i can. Su root or Hadron, Rasta.
