Root Reformatted SD Card, lost root?

I was just curious but the other day I switched from kaosfroyo v34 to v35-1 and after flashing, it didn't recognize my SD Card anymore. So I just re-formatted. Does this mean I no longer have root on my phone?

You're phone is still rooted, you just don't have the flashable rom file on your sdcard anymore since you re-formatted it. Does it recognize your sdcard now that you re-formatted?
