Help refresh symbol wont go away

i have a refresh symbol in the notification bar beside the 3G symbol and it wont go away. i have reboot a few times and it still comes back. i tried using task killer to kill everything but it still there. any suggestions?

I've been having the same issue for the past few days. The only thing I can think of that may have caused it was I noticed it shortly after disconnecting my phone from its USB jack via my computer.

Ya know whatthat makes sense. That's when mine started I think. I didn't pay that much attention but yeah it was after I hooked up to my pc. Does it effect your battery life?

Do you have usb debugging on? Also, make sure you are in Charge Only Mode before disconnecting from the computer.

yes i had usb debugging on. i wasnt aware that i needed to change it to charge mode before unplugging. guess ill have to try it next time

Did you restore system data using titanium back up recently?

Yeah but it was after the symbol was there.

This is the second time its happened and im still not sure why its happened. Yes I did have it pluggled into my pc but I did put it in charge only mode before unplugging. It didn't happen right after unplugging it. I tried everything even a factory reset and before I had any apps installed it was there. Any suggestions?
