Help reinstall new android os

So because i'm new in using android os,can someone help me,if i fu*k up something how to reinstall the android os 1,6 on my lg gt 540 ???

Sorry, I meant that if you hold those keys while the phone is on then you can do a factory reset. Yeah, it'll work on any version of Android
