Root Reinstalling stock apps errors..

Well you would think Id know how to do this,but undoubtedly I don't lol...what gives?

either I get an app not installed error in phone install,or in adb I get a permission denied,no certificates error,etc..when trying to use install from adb or even just adb push.

yep. my adb install says can't run as root on build models or something to that effect. I'm puzzled.

Oh, that happens when the system isn't mounted as a writeable drive. Try this.

Code:
adb shell
[I][FONT=Arial-ItalicMT][SIZE=3][FONT=Arial-ItalicMT][SIZE=3][SIZE=2]mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system[/SIZE]
[/I][/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

Then do your stuff, and mount it back as a read only when you're done

Code:
[I][FONT=Arial-ItalicMT][SIZE=3][FONT=Arial-ItalicMT][SIZE=3]
[SIZE=2]mount -o remount,ro /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system[/SIZE]
[/I][/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT]

I mean, I think that's what it is. Not completely sure.

thank you. also noticed my superuser was outdated. that could be a culprit also. ill try your suggestion later after work.

my problems resolved when updating superuser. but ill keep the commands you provided on hand in case i ever need them.
