Reject list

I added a number to the Reject List. What does this do when someone on the Reject List calls? Do they receive a specific message? What happens?

I don't know. I know the phone never rings with them trying to call. Can't you temporarily block a land line number where you are are try calling your phone?

On my Note 3, it merely sends the blocked caller straight to voicemail. You get a notification, but the phone doesn't ring.
