release date 4/14

That would be great. You could still get a one year contract. But since that is only three days away, I doubt it. I am sure Verizon is waiting until after the 17th so we can't get one year contracts on it.

It's just two days before and there is still no sign that this one is coming. But LG Revolution entering final testing phase just popped up on phandroid news. Maybe Revolution comes ahead of this.

Another rumored release date bites the dust.

Looks like no chance for me to get an LTE phone on a 1yr contract that doesn't weigh a ton and has a decent battery.

And no more one year contracts since if you check their website they eliminated them already.

Ya, I discovered the hard way. I had given up waiting for the Charge and tried to buy a Thunderbolt this morning on 1yr. Can't do it. After lots of calling and idiotic customer service people, I found out that telesales can still do 1yr. But they won't do the employer discounted price that was on the website, only the non-discounted $320 for 1-yr on the Thunderbolt.

Not worth it enough for me since Thunderbolts are so bad they're going cheap on eBay for around $450 new. Better off going no-contract.

Meanwhile, I'm so upset with Verizon for pulling the rug out from under me that I've checked other phone companies. I can't find any 1-yr pricing for T-Mobile nor AT&T. Nice how all the phone companies collude in the competitive (not) free market and all drop 1yr pricing at once.

I hear you there. Sad times.

And he were are, still without our Droid Charge. Oh well, I'm starting to lean more towards just awaiting the Galaxy S 2 anyhow. Especially if it ends up having that microUSB to HDMI feature we've been reading about.

Berizon is not my favorite carrier anymore, btw. I wish Sprint had a dang phone I wanted. The only ones that come close spec/screen wise have stupid bulky keyboards I don't want. I would go to T-Mo also, but not if they're getting bought by AT&T, Satan's Cellular Network.
