Anybody have any of these yet? I heard november but that could be beg or end? And how bout pre orders and price for the different memory sizes?

Thanks

last night they said "sometime in November" but I have heard Nov 3rd and 10th floating around but have no clue how valid those dates are so don't take my word on those.

if the 10th is the date, i hope it is the date the preorders deliver, cause I'm leaving for Vegas on the 11th, lol.......

LOL @ the Iphone comment!!

I stopped in my local VZW store and the owner knew all about it and watched the Utube presentation also. He hadnt heard anything other that what we know here. He laughed and said WOW when I said I was going from an Eris to the Prime.....

Rock on and bring the prime on!!

So, there will be 16GB and 32GB variants. Is it even remotely possible that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus would be 16GB for $299, and they'll also have a 32GB for higher? I mean, that would make no sense to me, but I guess it's possible.

Man, I'd be pissed.

PS - If I were Samsung, I would have easily scrapped the 16, and I would have just done a 32GB ($299) and 64GB ($349).

there's absolutely no way that Samsung/VZW is going to sell a 16gb iPhone for $200 on contract and a 16gb gnex for $300... samsung wouldn't let them because they know vzw would sell more iphones

Based on specs and size, Galaxy Nexus is very much like a Galaxy S2 with a 720p screen.

That's very good, I'm not knocking them for that. I've been lusting for the GS2 for a long time, but ended up buying an Inc2 off ebay when it did not come out for Verizon. A rooted and overclocked Inc2 is plenty fast for me, so I'm not especially eager to get the Galaxy Nexus.

I think I will get it eventually. ICS looks really nice, but function-wise it did not blow me away. I'm looking forward to seeing other new phones that will come with ICS. I'm still not in a hurry to get 4G LTE, 3G is still fast enough for me. The non-removable battery and no SD card slot is disappointing.

Who knows, if there is a custom ICS rom made for my Inc2, I'll get even more mileage out of my phone.

Bottomline, I'm not compelled enough to rush out and get this phone. I'll wait for reviews, I'm especially curious about battery life cuz they've already got everything else covered, and with the cpu and gpu pushing so many pixels, how long can it last?
