Is that an off contract price or off contract? I think it should be 299 on contract and 500 off contract. Just my opinion.

I'm surprised there isn't more interest on this. I'm looking forward to it. It's got a great size that coupled with the SuperAmoled display, should raise the bar for tablets.

I'd love to hear about a confirmed release date.

Still can't find a fixed price or release date. If any does, pleeeease post it for us.

It is surprising that there's nothing suggesting a release date. I'm really tempted to get the Wifi + AT&T model that's available from a few online importers. At least if we had a date, I'd have something to shoot for.

Verizon is always very tight lipped about release dates.

Just to let everyone knows the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now currently available on Verizon. I bought off contract and paid $699. Doing it this way enables you to use LTE whenever you wish. You just need to call to have them activate the service for that month.

If you go for the bundled price of $499, that will require a $30/month contract for data. You pick your poison.

At any rate I'm very impressed with the tablet thus far.

Thanks for the buying tip.
So if I buy it off the contract and want to activate LTE service for a month, how much do they charge for data service? Is it the same rate as contract?

I don't know if it's still going on, but Verizon had a promotion to save $100 off any tablet when a new phone was purchased. You had to do 2-yr contract, but you could buy a basic phone. I made out pretty well because I needed a new phone (the charging port failed on my LG envy) and I still had $100 credit towards a new phone. And there is 4G all over my area, so it's fast! One day, I got 29,000 kbps vs. 700 kbps on my 3G air card or my DSL! (at $30/month vs. $60/month that I was paying b4).
