So why did you go with the inspire if you dont mind asking?

Love the way it looks. I believe the specs are more than enough For what I need. Love the bigger screen. Sense is the best beside vanilla android and if I can't have pure Google I'd rather have sense. The ease of root/mod the knowledge that HTC updates their phones the fastest etc etc LOL

It's going to be another Samsung, with branding all over the front of it.
Another reason I like the Atrix, the AT&T branding is on the BACK where it can easily be removed with an unbranded battery cover. :)

LOL I thought I was the only one that this annoyed! Glad these 2 arent with the ATT Logo on the top like the Captivate.

Anyone even contemplating Samsung obviously hasnt learned from the whole SGS debacle. Never again will I buy $amesung

Well some people just like the phone as is and don't even know or care about updates. I mean I know a lot of people like that and I have to tell them when they need to update be it android or iPhone.

lol exactly, as Ive said in many posts people are just obsessed with having the most up to date, best technology out there, even if they dont need it, I used to be like this, but Im trying to stray away from that, its working so far.

I used to be like this with tech and cars now I have changed. I only get what I need. I mean I will never play a game that needs the dual cores I barely use my ps3 don't have the time. I will never be on a bus and need video or movie playback. The most I will use is YouTube here and there so for me what I need is covered by the inspire

That makes sense , unless they're the same price. If the Inspire is the same price as the Atrix and out at nearly the same time, why would you prefer the Inspire? I wouldn't think I would play crazy dual core games either, but if they're great, I might. Probably wouldnt watch a movie on a phone either, but if the high-res qHD screen looks great, I will.

Agree man agree completly, I think I'll just wait for the arc as thats truly what I want, wonder is the Arc has HSDPA+ see now that is something that is important to me, can anyone verify this?

Wait so this HSPDA+ is nothing new, you will know if you have it if you have an H instead of 3G,funny because I had the X10 and HTC Hero and they both had that little H, interesting very interesting...

I believe there's HSPDA and HSPDA+. Don't know those phones' specs, but it might have been the former.

Skimmed that part, my bad. I am still somewhat skeptical of it being released by then but it would be great if it was. Unfortunately, if it is released in January, looks like I will end up waiting another month as my upgrade will be available then. Perhaps I can get AT&T to bump up my date. Has anyone had luck doing that?
With AT&T most customers qualify for an exception upgrade as long as you haven't been disconnected due to non payment in the last 12 months. 9 times out of 10 you qualify for the exeption upgrade. All it does is lets you do your upgrade if you are within 30 days of your regular upgrade. So if your upgrade is February 21, and today is January 22, you are within 30 days as so could ask for an exception upgrade. When they ask for the reason you are needing the exception upgrade just say you broke your phone or something. Currently, exception upgrades can be used for any device other than the iPhone.

What if you never bought a phone when you activated your line? (last may I ported my number over from T mo and had my unlocked N1, so I didn't use the subsidy pricing for anything) Do you think the customer service people would have sympathy?

My wife ported her number from T-Mobile with the 3GS back in August. She didn't get any phone because she was waiting for the White iPhone 4. Then on her birthday in December she decided to stop waiting and get the Black iPhone 4. All she had to do was tell them that she didn't get a phone when she ported her number. She still got upgrade pricing for the iPhone 4.

Man I wish this would hurry up and come out already!! CLIQ 2 was just released today and it was announced at ces alongside the ATRIX. That will really be dissapointing if they wait until Mar. 1st.:(
