I'm a long time at&t user...like really long! I will say this, in the past it was awesome. The last year or so has been very bad! Throughout Bklyn, Queens, and Manhattan I've had very sketchy service and data speeds. I've used and experienced it with various devices, iPhone 4, Blackberry Torch, and yes the Captivate. They're 3G has been very unreliable IMO, so I'm pretty interested to see how they're 4G measures up. Believe me, I'm pulling for them. I have a great plan, and have never had any issues with they're customer service. Guess we'll see when the Atrix drops!
 
Lol im in queens and I get full bars at all time, and 0 dropped calls. I think theres a lot of att haters for some reason, and I mean the ones that hate just to hate, not from true experience.

At $99 I see why it would be released along with the Atrix. Basically to boost there Android offering. Not really seeing the Inspire as a game changer.

Its not a game changer at all but many people don't care about changing the game just about the best phone that fits there needs. Like me for instance the inspire has more favorable things for.me

That's pretty much what the article said and what I started to think. Basically a rebranded Desire Hd with slightly better specs. In your case I don't think I would spend retail on last years tech. Only way I'd consider this phone is on a new or upgraded contract.

True true but im always rooting and rom and I think it will be more my liking the HTC. Although if I dislike it I can swap for the atrix im 30 days ;)
 
Why all the defense in here...this isn't a Trial! at&t is OK, but what I state is pretty real world. I get tons of dropped calls in Queens/Woodhaven, and BK for the most part. I have both at&t and Vzw, and both have they're pros and cons. Its not really a matter of Hating! Like a lot of Android supporters, I'll most likely get the Atrix when its released! Motorola has never really impressed me in the past, but the Atrix's specs are a lil to much to just pass up. If it lives up to the hype, and the duel core performs and plays nice with at&t's 4G, it'll be a keeper.

What phone are you using? Sometimes its directly connected to the phone your using. Here in Atlanta I know coverage is good but when I had the iPhone 4 I got a lot of dropped calls (antennagate). On my captivate I rarely ever drop a call.

Yes i agree its def connected to the phone and its antenna

With the iPhone 3Gs I hardly ever dropped any calls, with the iPhone 4 it was a joke...non stop dropped calls! With The Blackberry Bold 9700 I tend to have better 3G coverage and less dropped calls then my BB Torch...
Now with the Captivate, it was not a good run...I was dropping a good amount of calls for the 2 weeks that I had it, data was just plain slow and not as fast as I would have liked. All in all, you never now...I'm using my Torch the last week or so, and the reception has been better...maybe at&t tuned up the network in the last couple of weeks? Either way its a business line so I'm pretty much tied to it...

I don't wanna hijack this thread with an at&t vs other carrier debate...service is what it is with all these carriers...hit or miss and really depends where you reside, and what works best for the individual! I'm pretty fair...

So what are we looking at guys and gals...Amazon is saying Feb 11th on they're website? That would be greatttttttt.

Yea if AT&T stick to there release cycle it should be the 13th.
 
If it's the 13th it'll make a nice Valentine's day Gift for myself. My Lady will be slightly jealous...lol! Flowers and Dinner for her, and a Fire Breathing Duel Core monster for Meeee!
 
Argh...and I still hant decided what the hell to get...Atrix, Inspire, or wait even longer for arc, I guess probably Atrix..
