Release Day Price

Does anyone have an idea of what the Droid 1 or Droid 2 cost on release day?

I am waiting for the Droid 3 and need to buy on release day because my OG Droid screen is acting up and is impossible to use. I have not been keeping up on new phone releases and am really just looking for an idea.

I do have an early upgrade available from Verizon so I will be getting it at the 2 year contract price plus a small $20 fee.
