Root [RELEASE] Live Wallpapers for 2.0.1

I updated to SholesMod 2.0.6 also i am assuming that i need to install live walls last? And if i decided to re-flash .6 later if i want to keep live wall papers to install it again?
 
By the way, guys, check out the market for more live wallpapers.

I'm using the 3D star one and when you swipe to your left most or right most screen, the stars go whizzing by so fast!

I just lowered my CPU to 600 and everything is still working fast!
If it was/is true that Moto removed live wallpapers because of performance, totally unnecessary. Hell, I slowed it down to 500 and it still works great. With other stuff going on as well...other apps..etc.

Screw the 2.1 update lol
 
I never bought into the live wallpaper hype but now that I have installed and have been playing with it, WOW!!! Using "Spectrum" and love the way it interacts when I change screens. And I thought this was going to be another boring day :D I wonder what is coming tomorrow :confused:
 
What happens to the file of live wallpapers when droidmod puts it in their ROM eventually? does it mess everything up or are we going to be okay?
 
running sholes 2.03 with live wallpapers.. getting wayy too many phone restarts.. will try to upgrade to 2.05 and try again
 
Running Sholes 2.0.6 @ 1.2g with the Spectrum live wallpaper. It is sick. Absolutely no decrease in performance and I havent noticed any major battery drain issues. I love the effect while playing music.
 
this is awesome! everything running smooth with sholes 2.0.6. so the wallpapers are affected when playing music? i remember watching a vid on engadget where the wallpapers can be touched and it would have an effect.
 
This is built into Bugless Beast 7.8...which is, incidentally, the best ROM I've every run.

7.8 update.zip worked perfectly for me - 7.8 nandroid is problemmatic, evidently...see the thread in Pete's section on Alldroid.
 
Got them running right now on my 2.0.6 Sholes at 1.2 with no ill-effects at all! The starfield wallpaper from the market is great!
 
Fabolous are you still using Sholes ROM? I'm using Beast and 0.7.7 and 0.7.8 (the 2 live wallpaper updates) broke drocap2. With and without live wallpapers it fails to screen cap.
 
Check out the Earth Live wallpaper (free in the market). My iphone loving girlfriend is green with envy.
 
Installed manually. Nandroid backup took about 5 minutes (is this normal?). Installed the tgz. Rebooted, stuck on Motorola boot screen. Had to battery pull. Tried this about 5 times, with the same result every time.

Why does everything have to be such a damn hassle when I try it? :mad:

Edit: Instead, I just installed the new BB version with Live Wallpapers included and it works perfectly!
