I guess my corporate rep was wrong about this Thursday. I have to email him anyway to order another data card for our company, so I will see what his response was. I did grab a Dinc to hold me over.

I really don't think we'll hear anything today or tomorrow with the iPad2 release, but I still feel pretty confident in next week at this point
 
I agree Jay, tho I'm not that optimistic of the release being next week, but if we're going to hear anything about a release date, the announcement will come next week after the iPad2. They don't announce on weekends, do they?

I doubt it, they usually go pretty silent on the weekends. I'd assume we'd hear something Monday or Tuesday whether is be for Thursday the 17th or the 24th

theres no way big red would let that happen. Never been a retailer to sale a phone before the carrier. Never will be! Retailers always get it the same day at the earliest, and possibly a midnight sale if they are real lucky. Now there might be a badass special edition white blunderbolt in the pipeline exclusive to best buy this summer, but that is another story entirely.

Ok so my friend that works in Verizon Marketing (don't laugh), was talking to me last night. I asked him if they were getting sick of all the chatter around the TB, he said it didn't bug him but he wishes HTC would get thier stuff (using a different adjective) together. I told him I just wanted the phone, he said I would have it before the end of the month.

I'm thinking the 3/17/11 date is looking good here. Don't understand what he meant by the HTC comment as everything we have been hearing seems to point to HTC not being the issue here.

I was just going to point that out to that gentleman... BB also sold a at&t phone on a Friday when it did not get released by at&t until Tuesday.(phone slips my memory at the present time) Everyone just needs to chill. I was just posting what I hoped would happen, not what was going to happen.

Probably that Verizon is blaming HTC and vice versa.

im chillin, was just sayin chances are against a retailer selling before the carrier. Although, I do remember buying the blackberry bold a day before its actual release from my local att store.
