if a phone does go into pre order friday why not the dinc hd? is there another phone going into pre order friday other than it? if not than perhaps....

on a side note i emailed the guy at verizon about it and asked him if the phone would be pushed back due to it being a lte device and he "no sir the htc incredible hd is a 3g device" and that he was researching if it would go into pre order friday.
but i heard you had to pre order online so thats probably why he didn't know about that yet.

htc incredible or htc incredible hd?
 
so he definitely knew which device you were talking about? i don't know what to believe we're getting 2 different stories now...trying to stay hopeful though i really want this phone now after so much buildup.

i wonder if he just assumed you were talking about the incredible?
 
this rep told me on this past sunday the incredible hd would be released on 11-23 and took my info and said he would call me just before and if i was interested he would put me two back.

No Sir, I havent heard that. That's the first to my knowledge. Theincredible HD is 3g based device. -----

i wonder if they would start the pre-sale friday even if it didn't come out until january or later...
 
im not sure. the phone exists we know that. i believe it was supposed to be released on 11/23 even as late as this past Sunday due to what the rep said. however after his email saying he was researching the launch info does cause me concern. i hope it wasn't pushed back recently.
 
i suppose its possible that they are trying to keep it quiet trying to steal some sales just before black friday. sort of a door buster type thing.
 
yeah that was from a week ago though, but yes more coverage. we know its real just the when is what we don't know
 
im thinking 60/40 it will release in november at this point. i highly doubt they would begin pre orders for a phone that is months away though.

Still sure about this preorder thing? It would make much more sense for them to release it next year when LTE comes out wouldn't it.
 
Just for the record, I saw a box with red tape on it at verizon today! A fat miserable pissed off guy was leaving the store with it though in his nice car. I was driving cross country, and in Montana at the time. I think he was corporate.

Not even a little funny. I was planning on switching to T-Mo for the My Touch 3G. Plans changed and now this is my best hope for a decent verizon android.
 
that verdict guy just tweeted that he may have gotten some bad information about the incredible h d take it for what its worth
