Help reliable rom please

can anyone recommend a reliable and stabel rom for the htc desire a1818 (brown)

ive tried quite a few either downloaded to my pc and flashed manually, and with rom manager premium,

my problem is no matter what rom i try from coinslot, cyanogen, badnewz and a few others i can never gat mobile data so theres no point keeping it.

as far as i know ive followed the instructions properly, from youtube/xda,cyanagen site but no mobile data

ive tried turing it on in settings but it never works

not sure if im being a bit thick and missed something lol

any help would be well appreciated

Here is the the topic for Gingervillain: [ROM-GingerBread] Ginger Villain 1.8 (01-04) - xda-developers

The process is simple - make sure you have an ext partition, download the zip file and put it on the SD card, reboot to recovery, wipe cache and phone, select the zip and let it install. Reboot and you are done.
By the way, this is a ASOP Gingerbread ROM v2.3.3 (no Sense).

I'm not a fan of sense. Tried a few roms out - these are my 3 personal favourites.
Oxygen 2.0.3. Redux 1.1.1RC3 Gingervillain 1.8. All work fine on my desire with no issues. If you have a problem wipe cache and data partitions first.
