Root Reliable Tethering App/Configuration

For those of us who tether, is there any specific app needed that is compatible with the admire? Or do I have to change a certain setting? I do know I have been successful with tethering in the past, but that was a couple of ROMs ago.

Would it be that requisite0's kernel does not support tethering? If so, it wouldn't make a difference if I try to flash Monster 4 with his Clockworkmod either right?

Oh and out of the apps I have tried, only Wifi Tether for root users tells me my phone is tethering, but it gives an error before that. Even though my phone says its tethering the signal isn't reaching any of my devices so I'm stumped.

I hope what I've written makes sense to everyone :-/ Please Help ^_^
 
You can usb tether. Just write tether on gplay. i dont see why you wanna do it anyway. it'll take like 1 minute to load google.com desktop version. not good.

that or Open Garden's Tethering... i heard it good aswell... dont get reception near my house so its worthless for me.. even if i do im 15 miles from any 3G service...
 
I use open garden on the Monster 4 ROM, and it works like a charm. Only thing I have to do every now and then is to change the channel while tethering to get my tablet to recognize the signal

The problem turned out to the the ROM itself. I guess Lunar-Gen isn't compatible with Tethering, or its broken or something.

I tether just fine with Monster 5
