Reliable turn by turn!

If you're looking for a phone that won't drop a GPS signal,my experience with the G4 tells me this might be your phone. Previously,I had Galaxy s3 and then an LG G Vista on Verizon. Both phones would consistently and randomly drop a GPS signal. This would vary in frequency depending on the day,but would always happen numerous times during the course of an 8 to 10 hour day. I always kept an eye out for the blinking map pin in my phones notification bar so I could quickly switch to the print version of the directions to find my next turn.

For the past 3 weeks,I have been using my new G4 with Google Maps turn by turn navigation 5 days a week for close to 8 hours each day. During this time, I haven't heard the "GPS Signal Lost" notification even once! The G4 has never failed me and I've never missed my next turn. Another benefit of using the G4 is that my position never drifts when stopped at stoplights. This happened constantly with my older phones when at stoplights. Both would think I was on the other side of a dual lane and tell me to make a u-turn!

Though I haven't had experience with a lot of phone, I at least know the G4 for me makes turn by turn a worry free experience. There are many other reasons to recommend this phone. I just wish it had a 5.7" screen like my Vista.

I have a clear case and either it was reducing the GPS signal or the Onstar unit was while I was navigating. I found that if I remove the case I get a GPS signal just fine.
