Help Remote Connect to my Incredible?

Is there a way that I can, in a way, remotely connect to my phone from my computer. Maybe having an app that upon connecting my phone and launching it, it let's me manipulate my phone from my desktop.

I've always wanted to ask about that, but never did, and now the Atrix is flaunting its coolness, and I want it, lol.

I've wanted the same thing. at work, I unplug my speakers from my PC and into my phone to play music (work blocks pandora and streaming). But if I want to change tracts or give something a thumbs up, I've got to reach under my desk and grab the phone and do it. It would be cool if I could run the phone from the PC in that kind of a situation.

Before I even searched I suspected it would only be a rooted option. To have that much control over a phone from another device you will probably have to be rooted. I haven't rooted my phone yet but I think I will.

Webkey is GREAT but does require root. Perfect success with it so far. WOrks right through your browser via your local wifi network.
