Help REMOTE CONTROL APP for Galaxy Note 10.1?

I'm new to the forums, so bear with me if I'm not following any rules in particular.

I've had my Windows 8 Phone for a while now (Nokia Lumia 920) and I like it. I got a Galaxy Note 10.1 recently (not the 2014 edition) and like it a lot as well. I teach dance classes, and play my music from my tablet. The thing is, I have to explain dance moves etc. in the class every so often, and have to start and stop the music every few minutes. The tablet has to be connected to the sound input for the overhead speakers in the room, which is in the corner of the room. I have to stand in the middle of the room to explain all these things. Walking back and forth just isn't working out, because I have to start/stop the music several times in an hour.

I was hoping to the able to control the music on my Galaxy Note 10.1 using my Lumia 920. Is that even possible? I'm really hoping there is a way to do this. All I would need is to be able to play and pause the music, and pick songs if possible.

If there isn't a way to control music on the note 10.1 using my Lumia, is there any kind of other way to control music/other content on my note 10.1?

No, you would not be able to control the Note with your Lumia. There are apps to control one android device to another, but they are limited to a particular app, and only android to android.

You might see if this is will work, or a similar device.

Another option may be to get one of those hand held bluetooth android keyboards. They are about the size of a tv remote and may have some multimedia keys built in. I've never used one myself so I don't know how compatible they are to the current media apps. You can definetly find a full size bluetooth keyboard with media keys but that may be to large.

Just a word of warning. Bluetooth devices have pretty limited range, so I don't know if it will be able to cover the distance that you may need for a dance studio.
