Help Remote desktop Application for Linux users

Hello to everyone,
I have an application installed to my phone called "phonemypc", which is a great application if you have Windows installed on your home computer. I would like to know if any one can give me some Great applications that is similar but is made for Linux.
Thanks and have a great day.:p

TeamViewer is available for Linux. I haven't tried the Linux version, but it works great for remote-controlling PCs or Macs from Android, PC, or Mac. It's free, and it's highly reputable.

I've used TeamViewer many times now working on Linux (primarily Slackware), Windows (XP and 7), and OS X (10.5, 10.6) systems and it works quite well in cross-platform situations. A nice feature about TeamViewer is you can run it either as an installed application or as a stand-alone application in situations where you're trying to access a computer you don't have root/admin privileges. Using it on my Optimus S to access PCs works but I find it really awkward to its touch interface/tiny virtual keyboard to get anything practical done.

Conversely, I recently read about Airdroid, an app that lets you access your Android phone using a browser on a PC via a local wireless network. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
