Help Remote desktop apps evo 3g

Hi I apologize for the possibly redundant thread but I searched and couldn't find anything.
Basically I have tried various remote desktop apps (wyse cloud, etc) using the rdp connection. However, none of them seem to work over 3g(sprint, obviously). So I was wondering if there is either a way to make these apps work over 3g or if there's and app that can do this. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean? Since going on 3g will put you on an outside network, you can't just connect to your internal network anymore without a certain setup. What exactly are you having trouble with? Do you have some kind of port forwarding set up? If not, you either need to set that up or use something like logmein. If you do have that set up, are you just saying it won't connect? Can you give some examples of what you're trying to do?

If you want to use rdp or something similar (vnc), yeah, that's about the only way (aside from something more complicated, yet significantly more secure, such as a vpn). What are you having trouble with?

one of the remote control desktop programs that i can use over 3g and its really fast is called "logmein" sadly the app is $30 but you definitely get what you pay for!
