Removal of Battery Cover

So I wasn't there when my brother picked up my phone... How do you remove the battery cover? The phone says the SD card is not install so I wanna make sure its in there. I ran a search in google and theres guide. I dont wanna scatch up my new phone trying to figure it out where it's suppose to come out at. Thanks in advance!

There's a small rectangular hole on the back at the bottom of the phone. Just carefully lift it up and it'll open. It's kinda like the Evo.

For some reason it wont recognize the sd card. do i have to format it?

Edit: Nevermind I got it to work. =)
