HDH with Android 2.2.1

Asphalt 5 cannot be started. i get "The application Asphalt 5 (process com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GlofAsphalt5Demo.asphalt 5) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." whenever i start the game. Actually i
really don't want this game. Could it be removed by deleting the folder
"asphalt5" from the SD card?

Thank you for your reply !!

Are you with telus? If it came with your phone you have to have root access to remove it. I was getting the same error message but then i figured out it would only work if i had my wifi/mobile internet off.

Thanks for the reply !

Yes, it is Telus.

After the previous post i deleted the folder "gameloft" from the SD Card, It is about 100 MB . Unfortunate the icon on the app screen cannot be removed
using the "hold & drag" method. If you touch icon it remakes the "gameloft" folder and downloads the app to the SD card. What an annoying !!

The only way to remove it would be to get temporary root access or to just root your phone.

I prepare to temp rooting my HDH to uninstall some preloaded apps.

Dose VISIONary r14 work for my Canadian Telus subscribed HDH with
Android 2.2.1?

Furthermore after temp rooting how to uninstall the preloaded apps
i never use ?

Thank you !!

Sadly you can't temp root a Telus DHD with 2.2.1. Believe me I have tried it. The only option is to downgrade your firmware first.
Not sure why but you can try it. But when i tried it. It just froze my phone completely.

Cheers, Bentree.
