Root remove boot screen...

so i rooted my phone awhile back and flashed velocity and the turbo kernal on my ally. then i installed a boot screen using this command:

/$ su
/# cp sdcard/XeyeTeaser.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
/# reboot

so now i wanna get rid of this boot screen but i dont know how.

i really would like some help. after i installed the boot animation on my phone i keep getting force close notifications and my phone keeps resetting. PLEASE!!!!

You might try the steps outlined in

If you're not interested in having a rooted 2.2.1 phone, you could stop after step 17 (you wouldn't have to worry about pulling the battery, just let it reboot normally in step 17). Then root your 2.1 phone like you did before.
