Root remove carrier boot screen

exedev

Lurker
I recently unlocked my HTC One S to move to a different carrier but the original carrier (O2) boot screen still gets displayed on startup and on shutdown.

I want to remove this and was advised to root the phone and then delete the logo file or replace it with something else.

So I rooted the phone and have installed Solid Explorer file manager but I can't find where this file lives.

Another forum suggested flashing the ROM.

Any help would be much appreciated.
