Root Remove clock from notification bar

[nathanotis]

I just flashed to Kings Unleashed Ultra Blakk R3 and I'm looking for a way to remove the clock from the notification bar. This was a feature on CM7 that I loved.

I've found some discussion and solutions in other device forums, but nothing for the Evo. I'm sure I'm just missing something... Help me out?

Thanks.

You can try looking into that, if you didn't already...[MOD][Updated:3/14/11]Toggle on/off entire CLOCK or just AM/PM from StatusBar - Sense - xda-developers

Not sure how or if it will work on that ROM. I haven't tried it because i'm on a odex ROM.

If you try it let us know how it goes...

Worked like a charm! I will tell any one who installs this tweak that it may alter some of your ROMs theming. In my case, it removed just a little of the "Blakk-ness". Just from the settings menu... No biggie. Just wanted to mention it.

Thanks so much for the response, BC.

so all you did was flash this http://logika.net/downloads/evo/am_pm/am_pm_no_clock_complete.zip

and it removed the clock? I wonder if it'll work on kings unleashed r3

I flashed that and went to the date and time settings, and removed the clock using the new options this file created. Its all made pretty clear in the thread that link points to.
