hi guys, I've finally rooted my phone using the guides on here. I used the revolutionary guide and installed CM7.1. Being a novice, clockworkmod came with the firmware and I used it to flash its rom. anyways i want to go back to the rom i had before and try the new cm7.2. is this an easy process?

many thanks

vik

I think the thread title is a bit misleading - you are asking about removing CyanogenMod (ROM), not ClockworkMod (recovery).

In fact the thing you don't want to do is go back to your original ROM and then try CM7.2. Just install CM7.2 over 7.1. You may be OK doing it without a wipe (literally just install over), but I'd take app/data backups (and a nandroid, of course) before doing it, so that if there are any problems you can just wipe then restore apps (but not system data).
