Help Remove facebook

Hi,

I would like to remove facebook (and any other factory apps) from my samsung fascinate.

From the info which i got through websites:
I have downloaded terminal emulator and couldn't get root access. when 'su' is entered i'm getting error "command not found".

Also, i have seen mount command for other android phones, can you please let me know the command to run on samsung fascinate to uninstall any preinstalled apps.

Please let me know.

Your device must allow root access for the "su" (superuser) privileges to be invoked by you.
