Help remove HTC sense 3 lock screen animation

Since got the sense 3 update the swirl animation is there after the lock screen. Is there anyway to turn this off as I find it annoying?

This has been asked before and the answer seemed to be that there's no way to remove it. I, like you, find it pointless and annoying and can only think of one reason for HTC to have done it - the whizziness of it might make people giddy if they've had a drink or two, and so discourage them from sending late night texts that they later regret!

Lol. Maybe they will include a remove option in next update. Here's hoping.

If you are rooted, you can get a mod for Android revolution that disables the 3d effects

Edit : just flashed ARHD 7 Sense 3.5.there is still those 3d effects but the one coming out of the lock screen is real quick ,and less spinny
