hi all

i just bought s4 and after using it for a day i noticed that at the top where the status bar is, is filled with icon anging from facebook to many other.
anyone knows how to remove them?

thx

You can remove notification icons (eg new SMS or email) but I don't believe that the ones that show certain apps are running can be removed.

I base this on what the authors of AdBlock said ie that they could hide the AdBlock icon from the status bar but not remove it. All they can do is leave an apparently blank space that cannot be used by anything else. This appears to be an OS limitation.

I may be wrong but I don't think you can.

You can try to click the "disable notifications" checkbox which is located under each app's page under the applications setting.

Settings>More>Application manager

The "F" from Facebook is possible to disable from the Facebook app itself. This came from one of the Facebook updates. It's not from the phone.
