Help Remove Lock screen but retain Pattern Lock?

Digital_M

Lurker
hey everyone, I'm interested in removing the little "Slide Down" screen, but I'd like to continue having to enter in my Pattern just for security. I downloaded "No Lock" and it does do a good job so far of jumping RIGHT back into the home screen, but it overrides my Pattern requirement. Does anyone know what would be the best set up for me?

Thanks!

I'd like to get the puzzle piece for the lock screen. my boyfriend's captivate has it and its amazing lol

Try AntiLock

It removes the slide to lock and still gives you the option of using the pattern lock. It works well but the home screen flashes on for just a split second before the pattern lock appears (at least it did for me), which I found too annoying.

Try an app called No Lock.

No Lock does disable the slide to unlock screen but it also bypasses the pattern/password lock if enabled. AntiLock disables the slide to unlock screen and keeps the pattern lock, I just didn't care for the way it worked. What I found annoying others may not even notice.

I have lost interest in needing the pattern lock but my trial and error might help someone else.
