Help Remove stock ringtones?

I've never done it before So I'm gonna ask first, is it OK to remove the stock ringtones? And also the live wallpapers+ regular ones?.

Yes as they aren't essential system files, it's ok to remove them.

Where do you find the wallpapers at though? I cant find them.

It's not letting me delete them. I'm using astro. Do I need a different application?

You might need to root the phone to be able to delete those files. Try an app called root browser.

I haven't got my phone with me currently, but apparently the wallpapers are in Launcher.apk. In the res/drawable directory.

/system/app TwWallpaperChooser.apk is where the wallpapers are on my phone. Then /res/drawable-mdpi

With root browser the only options are extract and extract to. If you are determined to remove some wallpapers, copy the apk file to a computer, google apk decompiler. Good luck.
